This LSZH Cat5E range serves fixed voice and Ethernet links in building networks. Four twisted pairs use solid bare copper conductors and PE insulation, with a low-smoke zero-halogen outer sheath. Choose U/UTP for an unshielded cable, F/UTP for an overall foil screen, or SF/UTP for overall foil and copper braid screening. The listed transmission data covers frequencies up to 100 MHz.

Four pairs with 24 AWG solid copper conductors.
Thermoplastic LSZH LTS3 sheath; thermosetting SW2–SW4 sheath available as an option.
Nominal diameters of 5.1 mm, 6.3 mm and 6.6 mm for the three constructions.
Select the screen construction with the connecting hardware and installation environment. UV, oil, hydrocarbon, rodent and termite resistance are optional properties to specify with the order. Where the route also needs mechanical armour, use the separate armoured Cat5E range.
How do the three screen types differ?
U/UTP has no metallic screen. F/UTP uses an overall aluminium/polyester foil screen with a drain wire. SF/UTP combines overall foil and copper wire braid screens.
What is the outer sheath material?
The base construction uses thermoplastic LSZH compound type LTS3. Thermosetting LSZH types SW2–SW4 can be specified as an option.
Is this an armoured cable?
These three constructions are unarmoured. Separate CWB, SWB and SWA armoured versions are available in the related range.
What bending radii are listed?
Eight times the overall cable diameter during installation and four times the diameter once fixed.
Does LSZH mean the cable maintains a circuit during fire?
LSZH describes sheath smoke and halogen characteristics. Circuit-integrity requirements call for a separately specified fire-resistant cable.
